This toolkit was born out of a longing to help educators understand ADHD. Some of the issues we have faced in my son’s education have literally happened because the deeper knowledge of this condition is not there. We all have our ideas of what it is, and normally people think it is just the child ‘being hyperactive’ — it is in the title after all! However, there is so much more involved that heavily impacts a child in the classroom setting and its these aspects that I want to highlight in this toolkit.
